Edina Shrestha

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Interior Design from George Washington University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Edina Shrestha built her career working with several highly respected firms in Washington, D.C. Through numerous complex, multicultural projects, she gained invaluable experience in design, art, and creative problem-solving.

After relocating to Birmingham, Alabama, Edina chose to step back from full-time professional work to focus on raising her children while continuing to provide part-time consulting services. During this period, she spent much of her free time visiting art exhibitions and museums. These visits inspired her to study jewelry design through various books and research. What began as a personal interest gradually evolved into a powerful creative calling.

In 2005, Edina reinvented herself professionally and began pursuing her passion for jewelry design. Inspired by the desire to create truly one-of-a-kind pieces, she launched her own jewelry line centered on originality, craftsmanship, and artistic expression. Her work incorporates a variety of techniques, including distinctive inlay fusion methods that combine stones of different shapes, colors, and origins. Drawing inspiration from both Western and Nepalese aesthetics, she strives to create jewelry that bridges her culture and tells a unique story.

In addition to her signature collections, Edina designs custom pieces for clients who seek meaningful jewelry to commemorate a special purpose, milestone, or moment. Her distinctive designs have also attracted the interest of retail vendors who showcase selected pieces in their stores.
